Ranking about Ginny and Georgia
When you watch a show like Ginny & Georgia it is really hard to say who the best characters are. This show has a lot of characters. They all have their own stories. So it depends on what you like about the characters. Do you like it when they are smart and can outwit others?. Do you like it when they make you feel something?
Here is what I think about the characters from viewpoints.
1. By How Well They Can Survive And Be Complex
Some characters are really good at surviving and adapting to situations. They have to deal with a lot of pressure from their past and from the town they live in.
Georgia Miller is really good at this. She has been through a lot of things when she was a kid but she has learned how to deal with it. She can even manipulate people and situations to get what she wants. She is like a chess player always thinking ahead.
Ginny Miller is also very complex. She has to deal with the consequences of her moms actions. She is trying to figure out who she is. She is like a compass trying to do the right thing even when it is hard.
Marcus Baker is another character who stands out. He is struggling with depression and grief. His story is very real and honest. It is a change from all the fake and superficial things that happen in the town.
Austin Miller is a character. He is affected by the secrets and violence in his family. It is really tragic.
2. By How Well They Work As Friends
If you like the high school drama part of the show you might think about the characters differently. You might think about how they capture the intense and sometimes toxic reality of teenage friendships.
Maxine Baker is like the leader of the group. She is very dramatic and demanding. She also drives the plot and makes things happen.
Abby Littman is a character who is often overlooked. She is actually very sympathetic. She is struggling with body image issues and her parents divorce. It is really sad.
Ginny Miller is also a character in this group. She challenges the status quo. Brings a dose of reality to their sheltered lives.
Norah is a character who likes to fit in and avoid conflict. She is like a gatekeeper making sure everyone follows the rules and looks perfect.
3. By How Moral And Stable They Are
If you think about who provides the emotional support and stability in the show you might think about the adult characters.
Joe is a character who’s very kind and genuine. He is like an anchor for the characters and the audience. He has a interesting history with Georgia.
Zion Miller is a character who provides an artistic outlet for Ginny. He is an alternative to Georgia’s chaotic and protective personality.
Ellen Baker is a character who is celebrated for her approach to parenting. She is also a friend to Georgia and she offers a rare space of authenticity in the town.
Mayor Paul Randolph is a character who represents stability and ambition. He is initially a political figure but he has a genuine dedication, to the Miller family, which adds depth to his character.
