Mount Everest alternative version

The air up high gets really thin and It feels super quiet like its waiting for you to stop breathing.

The episode didn’t have a title on Netflix. It just showed up as a thumbnail in the *Ginny & Georgia* season two list labeled “00.”

My sister and I love the shows drama so we clicked it without thinking assuming it was a deleted scene or a funny behind-the-scenes clip.

The screen flickered, as it wasn’t the usual bright intro. Instead it was a shot of Mount Everests North Face.

The wind was really loud that it hurt my ears and then the title card appeared: *Ginny & Georgia: The Descent.*

It started like any episode, Ginny and Georgia were there wearing climbing gear standing at a base camp that looked really cold.

They were arguing,. The sound was weird, like metal grinding.

“You can’t just leave him in the crevasse, “Georgia!” Ginny screamed and her voice sounded different like she was speaking from a well.

Georgia turned around, her face looked different too and her eyes were dark and empty.

Her smile was too wide as her teeth looked visibly sharp.

“He was slowing us down Ginny” Georgia whispered as the sound cut out then came back loud. “The mountain needs a sacrifice if we want to reach the top.

Do you want to reach the top Ginny? Do you want to be the mountain?”

The scene cut to them climbing, they weren’t on a trail and they were crawling over bones sticking out of the ice.

Other characters from the show appeared, frozen in the ice their faces pressed against the ice watching the camera.

Marcus’s hand reached out, grabbing Ginny’s ankle, she didn’t scream.

She just stepped on his hand with a boot. She kept walking.

The “lost episode” got really intense when they reached the Death Zone, the lighting turned  purple and Georgia Grabbed Ginny.

“The secret isn’t in your journals ” Georgia hissed as her jaw moved weirdly.

“The secret is in the altitude. We haven’t been in Wellsbury for years. We’ve been dying here since the episode.”

The camera zoomed into Georgia’s mouth. It wasn’t a throat; it was a mist.

Ginny leaned into it and she stepped forward and the image beginning to glitch.

For a second a photo of my bedroom flashed on the screen and it was taken from behind my door not too long ago.

The screen went black, as I tried to pause, the remote was dead and I just changed the batteries, 5 days ago.

The TV made a clicking sound, suddenly I heard breathing, it wasn’t from the TV, it was from the vent above my head.

I looked at the screen one time. The *Ginny & Georgia* logo appeared,. It looked weird. It read: *You’re the climb.*

The TV turned off, the room was really quiet and I still have the Netflix account.

I’m scared to open the app, every time I hear the wind outside, it sounds like the wind on Mount Everest.

Sometimes I think I see a face pressed against the wall waiting for me to turn around.
